Protecting and preserving our green open spaces and heritage is a high priority for me.
Within Wentworth, we are fortunate to have some of the most beautiful, iconic and historic sites in all of Australia.
We have a duty to protect and preserve them for future generations, and to keep the open spaces we have accessible to everyone.
I’ve fought to protect places such as South Head and Rushcutters Bay Park from overdevelopment, and fought to protect the heritage status of sites such as Macquarie Lighthouse and Centennial Park.
I’ve spoken in Parliament against the renewal of the offshore oil and gas exploration licence, PEP-11.
And I’ve supported local community groups that are helping to improve our local environment, such as Ocean Lovers Festival and Seaside Scavenge.
